Juan Manuel Porto is from Mexico City and Rosa from Caracas, Venezuela; three daughters, Sofia 6 years old, Sara 3 and a half and Camila 1 year old. Juan Manuel has a BS degree in Biology and Rosa stopped her studies in Costume Design temporarily after they joined Back2Back. Both were serving several years in youth ministries before they joined our staff in November 2002. Juan Manuel has worked several years in outdoor education and as consultant for organizational development programs.
Serving for the Hope Education Program, Juan Manuel & Rosa are the Joseph House Parents. Juan Manuel is Captain for Retiro Juvenil Children Home (ERJ) projects and Ropes Course development & operation.
