Campus Impact Ministry

Impact Ministries Vision: Impact Ministries exists to make contact with students through culture, connect them to an Impact group, build community with the church, and establish core relationships with God through evangelism, service, and discipleship.

Impact Ministries Mission:  The mission of Impact is to bridge the gap between youth culture and the church by empowering students to serve their peers, their cities, and their world as they share the love of Christ through student led/adult mentored Impact groups centered on shared passion and mindset of peer groups.

Our Identity

Impact strives to lead students to become an influential voice in youth culture. This identity will center around lifestyles of prayer, meditation on the word, discipleship of our peers, and movement as God calls us.

Pray

Student leadership in Impact will invoke prayer gatherings. Prayer will invoke the movement of God for the nations. Student leaders will learn to pray continually, seeking God through our praise, our heartbreak, our needs, our struggles, and our victories.

Meditate

Meditation on the word of God will align Impact groups with the truth of God’s plans, purposes, and ways. This movement will not rely on its own opinions, but on the breath of God. (Psalm 119:148)

Disciple

Jesus left his disciples with the mandate to make more disciples. Making disciples grows us spiritually and becomes the battle in which we fight for holiness in our own lives and the lives of all others. (Matt 28:18-20)

Move

To seek the face of God means a chase. As we chase the face of God, we realize that we cannot remain the same or stay in the same place. We are committed to "go" until God tells us to stop. We were created in the image of God for adventure with Him. (Psalm 27:8)

Our Resolve:

Empowering students leaders to use the common ground they share with their peers will produce fruit for the kingdom of God. We will create a culture of prayer, meditation on the word, student leadership/adult mentorship, and evangelism as we build Impact groups that are culturally relevant and engaging.
