Emilee and Jason Munafo moved to Nigeria in June of 2007, before then God had a plan bigger than they could imagine to bring them to Jos, Nigeria.

Emilee grew up very familiar with Back2Back and spent a lot of her spring breaks and summers serving as an intern in Mexico. In that time God placed it in her heart the desire to serve peoples physical needs while extending the love of Christ.

Jason’s passion for missions was discovered in college after he took various trips to 3 countries. It wasn’t until God closed the door to serving in China, did he learn about an opportunity to serve and direct in Jos, Nigeria.

In 2004 Emilee and Jason’s paths crossed at their home church in Mason, Ohio and together they decided to pursue missions in Nigeria. They took three previous trips to Nigeria before moving there in 2007. Together they use their different gifts to host groups and to share the Hope found in Christ to villagers and orphans.
